Absolutely, in many cases, yes! You're welcome to book multiple services during the same visit, as long as they're compatible and don't interfere with healing or prep. If you are unsure about what can be combined, feel free to reach out before booking.
If you have sensitive skin, a history of allergic reactions, or any concerns, we strongly recommend scheduling a patch test at least 24-48 hours before your appointment. This allows us to safely test how your skin reacts to the products we'll be using.
Following PreCare is crucial to getting the best results and protecting your skin. Here’s what can happen if these steps are skipped:

PMU (Permanent Makeup):
  • Skipping PreCare can lead to poor pigment retention, skin irritation, and longer healing times. For example, caffeine or alcohol consumption can cause excessive bleeding, which affects how well the pigment settles into the skin.

Brow Tint & Henna:
  • Not preparing your skin properly can result in uneven color application or irritation. Products like exfoliants or active ingredients can interfere with the tint’s absorption, leaving you with a patchy or faded result.

Brow Lamination:
  • Not avoiding certain products like retinol or exfoliating acids can cause skin sensitivity and damage to your brow hair. This leads to uneven results or even brow hair breakage.

Waxing:
  • Ignoring PreCare can result in skin irritation, ingrown hairs, or skin lifting. Not allowing enough growth or exfoliating too soon can cause the wax to pull at your skin, leading to redness, bumps, or unnecessary pain.

PreCare helps ensure that your skin is in the best possible condition for each service, minimizing risks and maximizing the outcome. For optimal results, follow the guidelines as closely as possible, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions about them.

Henna Brows is a form of deep staining eyebrow tinting using a natural dye made from the henna plant to tint both the skin and brow hairs. This gives the illusion of fuller, well-shaped brows—usually lasting up to 3 weeks on the skin and 4-6 weeks on the brow hairs.  Henna is great for filling in sparse areas and it is a great option for people looking for a more natural or chemical-free solution.

Aftercare Tip: Avoid oil-based products and excessive sweating for the first 24 hours to help the stain last longer.
Brow tinting is a process that uses semi-permanent dye to darken the brow hairs. It helps define your natural brows by making the hairs look thicker and more noticeable. Unlike henna, brow tinting mainly colors the hair with a light stain on the skin that fades fast. It usually lasts around 1–2 weeks, depending on your skin type and aftercare.

Aftercare Tip: Keep brows dry for 24 hours and avoid exfoliating near the area to maintain the color.
Though both services enhance your brows by adding color and definition, they’re not the same—and here’s exactly how they differ:

  • Henna Brows use a natural dye made from the henna plant. It’s plant-based, vegan, and generally free from harsh chemicals, making it a great option for sensitive skin or anyone avoiding synthetic ingredients.
  • Brow Tinting uses chemical-based dyes, often containing ingredients like PPD (paraphenylenediamine) to deeply color the hairs.
  • Henna stains both the brow hairs and the skin underneath, creating a filled-in, makeup-like look that defines the shape of your brows beautifully.
  • Tinting mainly colors the brow hairs only, giving a softer, more natural enhancement without much effect on the skin beneath.
  • Henna lasts up to 3 weeks on the skin and around 4–6 weeks on the brow hairs, depending on your skin type and aftercare.
  • Tinting usually lasts around 1–2 weeks on the brow hairs, but fades faster on oilier skin types or with regular exfoliation.
Disclaimer:
Although henna is a natural product, some brands may contain added chemicals like PPD to darken the stain.
A patch test is a simple safety check done before certain brow treatments like tinting, henna, or lamination. It helps us see how your skin reacts to the products we’ll be using—especially key ingredients like PPD (paraphenylenediamine), which is commonly found in brow and lash tints.

Some people can develop allergic reactions to PPD or other ingredients, even if they’ve used similar products before with no issue. Reactions can range from mild irritation to more serious symptoms like redness, swelling, or itching.

We’ll apply a small amount of the product (usually behind the ear or on the inner arm) and leave it for 24–48 hours prior to your appointment. If there’s no reaction, it’s safe to move forward with your service.

At The Beauty Factor, your safety always comes first. We require patch tests at least 48 hours before your first treatment or if it’s been a while since your last visit. It’s a small step that protects your skin and ensures your glow-up is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

It’s best to avoid applying makeup directly on your brows for at least 24 hours after your tint or henna appointment.

Why?
  • Your pores are still open, and adding makeup too soon can cause irritation or affect how well the tint/henna sets.
  • Products like foundation, brow pencils, or powders can fade the color faster—especially with henna, which needs time to fully develop on the skin.
After 24 hours, you can go back to your regular makeup routine, but we recommend using gentle, oil-free products around your brows to help the color last longer.

Pro Tip from The Beauty Factor:
Let your brows breathe that first day—they’ll already be looking snatched, so makeup won’t even be necessary!
Brow lamination is a semi-permanent, non-invasive technique that temporarily alters the natural brow pattern' s direction to achieve fuller and fluffier brow appearance. Brow Lamination is like a relaxer or perm—but for your brows. It smooths and straightens your natural brow hairs, helping them lay in the same direction and stay in place. This gives your brows a lifted, fuller, and more defined look that lasts.

Whether your brow hairs grow in different directions, curl, or just need a little structure, lamination helps stretch and set them into shape—kind of like how a silk press smooths your natural hair for that clean finish.

Perfect for:
  • Unruly or curly brow hairs
  • Gaps or thinning areas
  • Anyone who loves a bold, brushed-up brow look
Brow lamination typically lasts 4 to 6 weeks, but realistically, most people start to notice the results softening around week 3 or 4, especially with oily skin or if they use heavy skincare products. Proper aftercare helps it last longer.
Yes, but the results may vary.
Here’s why:

PMU often leaves behind scar tissue—even if it’s not visible.
When you get microblading or any form of permanent makeup, the process involves small cuts or tattooing into the skin. As it heals, the skin can develop microscopic scar tissue that feels and looks normal—but it doesn’t absorb color the same way as healthy skin.

Henna and tint are surface stains.
  • Henna stains both the skin and brow hairs, but scar tissue doesn’t absorb pigment evenly, which can lead to patchy or faded results over areas where PMU was applied.
  • Tint mainly targets brow hairs, so it won’t affect the PMU itself—but if your brow hairs are sparse, you might not see a big difference.
Results depend on how faded your PMU is.
  • If your PMU is still fresh and dark, henna or tint won’t show much at all.
  • If your PMU has faded, these treatments can help add definition to the hairs, but they won’t correct or fully enhance the tattooed areas.
Scarred areas don’t retain color well.
Whether from PMU, over-tweezing, or past injuries, scar tissue tends to repel stain, making it hard for henna or tint to “stick.” That’s why some areas may look lighter or fade faster, no matter how precise the application is.

Brow lamination should be done no less than every 6–8 weeks. This gives your brow hairs time to fully recover and stay healthy between treatments. Performing laminations too soon can lead to dryness, brittleness, and damage.

A Full Lamination resets the shape of your brows using lifting and setting solutions.

A Maintenance appointment is for returning clients (6–8 weeks after lamination) who want a refresh. Maintenance includes tinting, reshaping, and nourishing treatments but does not involve reapplying lamination solutions.

The lamination process softens and resets the bonds in your brow hairs. Repeating this too soon can weaken the hair structure, causing over-processing and breakage. We prioritize your brow health and only offer laminations after 6 weeks.

  • Before 6 weeks: Your appointment will be rescheduled to protect the health of your brows.
  • After 8 weeks: You’ll need a Full Lamination service, as maintenance is only effective while the previous lamination is still holding shape.

There are many benefits to maintaining a wax routine. Waxing is one of the best ways to temporarily remove unwanted hair. It is more effective than shaving because it removes hair from the roots and not just the skin's surface. Over time, with a consistent wax routine, hair in waxed areas will regrow lighter and more sparse. We recommend consistency in your wax appointments to experience full results.
Hair needs to be 1/4 inch long to be removed effectively. We recommend 3-4 weeks growth. More pain is associated with longer growth. If you usually shave, please allow 7-10 days before your wax appointment. We recommend sticking to one hair removal routine. shaving between wax appointments may hinder wax results.
On average, results may last 3-6 weeks.
We use a combination of  hard wax, soft wax and wax roll-ons to create a personalized experience to better meet your hair removal needs. Most wax services require the use of hard wax which hardens on the skin before removed.
Waxing may be uncomfortable for first timers. Everyone has a different pain tolerance, but you can expect a short stinging sensation between wax strips.
It is very common for moms-to-be to get a wax just before giving birth. When booking, please let us know so that we can be sure to book more time in your appointment to ensure your comfort at all times.
Yes, we recommend using a fresh tampon before service.
If done properly, waxing can be beneficial to people with sensitive skin. It is much more gentle than any other methods of hair removal. If you have sensitive skin it is very important to read our policies.
PMU stands for Permanent Makeup. It refers to a cosmetic tattooing technique that uses specialized tools to apply pigment to the skin, similar to traditional tattoos. However, PMU is meant to enhance features like brows, eyeliner, and lips, giving you a more defined look that doesn’t wash off.

Common PMU treatments include:
  • Microblading: For eyebrows, creating fine, hair-like strokes to fill in sparse areas.
  • Lip Blushing: A semi-permanent lip tint to enhance the natural color and shape of the lips.
  • Eyeliner Tattoos: Defining the eyes with a natural, long-lasting liner look.
While PMU is designed to last 1–3 years, it’s not “permanent” in the strictest sense, as it fades over time and may need touch-ups.
Microblading is a technique that creates fine, hair-like strokes using a manual handheld tool. It’s great for achieving a naturally fuller brow look without a heavily filled-in appearance.
While Microblading creates hair-like strokes, Microshading uses a soft shading technique. This results in a “powdery” finish—ideal if you’re aiming for a slightly more filled-in or blended look.
Not at all. The technique can be customized, from a soft, airy shading to a more defined powdery style, depending on your personal preference.
Like other brow PMU methods, you’ll have a recommended touch-up around 6–8 weeks after the initial session, and then as needed, generally every 1–2 years.
